The mulch is made from various woods that have been ground, sized, and dyed to our exact specifications. It is nontoxic to plants and animals. Apply 2” to 4" deep for weed control, moisture retention, and temperature control.

BLACK MULCH

GOLD MULCH
A beautiful, classic gold color that will enhance any landscape. The mulch is made from various woods that have been ground, sized, and dyed to our exact specifications. DARK BROWN MULCH
 A deep, dark chocolate brown that will retain its color for a full year or more. The mulch is made from various woods and ground, sized, and dyed to our exact specifications. It is nontoxic to plants and animals. Apply 2” to 4” deep for weed control, moisture retention, and temperature control.

PINE WOOD CHIPS
Uniform size from 1 ½” to 3”. Reddish brown color. Good weed control but retains less moisture. Apply 2” to 4” deep. Commonly used for playgrounds or wooded areas and more...


HARDWOOD MULCH
Double ground 100% hardwood logs. Aromatic, hardwood mulch is amber color with red hues. Helps with weed control and moisture retention. It is an insect repellent and decomposes slowly. Apply 2" to 4" deep. – More economical than dyed mulches.

                       

SOILS AVAILABLE

SCREENED TOPSOIL
Want to have a lush green landscape and blooming flower beds? You need to start with rich top soil to provide your plants with the nutrients you need. Our top soil is screened to 3/8 inch for just the right texture for laying down a new lawn, improving flower beds and for landscape shrubs.

UNSCREENED TOPSOIL
A better economic choice. Unscreened Topsoil is fairly clean, but may have some rocks, sod, etc. Unscreened topsoil can be used for fill, patching holes, in gardens, and planters.


FILL DIRT
Economical choice for filling large areas. Fill dirt is usually subsoil (soil from beneath the top soil) and underlying soil parent material which has little soil organic matter or biological activity. Fill dirt is taken from a location where soil is being removed as a part of leveling an area for construction; it may also contain sand, rocks, and stones, as well as earth.

LEAF GROW (Leaf Humas)
Leaf humus is basically composted leaves. It's high organic, usually nutrient-providing. Whether it's acidic or alkaline will depend on the type of tree that the leaves came from. Leaf humus is beneficial for both sandy as well as clay soils. It will improve the drainage in clay soils and will provide nutrients and improve nutrient-holding capacity in sandy soils.
